PRESS RELEASE “CAREER DAY” BITOLA
More than 20 companies and more than 100 open job positions were promoted at the Career Day, which took place yesterday, April 25th, 2023, on the plateau in the Officer’s House in Bitola, North Macedonia.
The main goal of the event was the transfer of information, motivation and education to over 200 unemployed people from the municipality of Bitola to apply and get a job in fast-growing companies, large companies, small and medium-sized businesses, innovative businesses and start-up companies on the one hand and companies that they need workers with professional qualifications, who offer vacancies.
The Career Day connects the business community (promotion of open job positions) with unemployed people. The other aspect of this event was motivating young people to stay in Republic of North Macedonia, start their own business and/or get involved in educational programs and work on their own career growth and development. In addition, YCC-Bitola offered participation to graduated students in an innovative digital online platform for entrepreneurial learning that will be implemented from July to August 2023, and will finish with a one-week residential training in September 2023 in Thessaloniki, Republic of Greece. Through the ENTEG program for entrepreneurship, we have vacancies for 24 participants from North Macedonia.
The project ENTEG is implemented In the framework of INTERREG IPA Cross Border Cooperation Programme “Greece-Republic of North Macedonia 2014-2020” through partnership cooperation of Youth Cultural Center – Bitola (partner) and Cooperation of Organizations for Voluntary Service – Prilep (partner) from North Macedonia and Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia (lead applicant) and Technical Chamber of Greece / section for Central Macedonia (partner) from Greece.
